No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

2. This website

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by [name and address of your web host]. When you visit, the server automatically processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless longer retention is required to investigate a security incident. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

No cookies, no tracking, no external services

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or marketing services and loads no content from third parties (including no external fonts).

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

3. The NLP Formate app

No account, no advertising, no analytics

You don't need an account to use the app. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.

Data on your device

Your own techniques, notes, photos, voice recordings, favourites, exercise progress and settings are stored only on your device. They are part of your iCloud or computer backup if you use one. We have no access to them.

Random app identifier

On first launch, the app creates a random identifier (app ID). It contains no personal information and is used only to recognise your own messages in the community chat and to attribute shared techniques.

Community chat

When you post a message in the community chat, the text, time and app ID are sent to our server (www.ressourcengarten.de), stored there and shown to all users of the app. To show new messages, the app regularly checks the server, sending the app ID and the time of the last check. The legal basis is providing the feature you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not share personal data in the chat. Messages you delete in the app are removed from your device only; you can request deletion from the server at any time by email.

Reports: When you report a message, an email to us opens containing the text, time and app ID of the reported message. We use this only to review and, where necessary, remove the post (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hiding authors happens on your device only.

Sharing and loading techniques

When you share one of your own techniques, it is sent to our server together with your app ID and made available for other users to download. When you load techniques from other users, the app retrieves the list and content from the server. Please don't include personal data in shared techniques.

Purchases

Premium purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment or account details. To unlock Premium, the app checks Apple's purchase confirmation on your device. Apple's privacy policy applies.

Translating your own techniques

The translation feature uses Apple's on-device translation. iOS may download language packs from Apple for this.

Permissions

Camera, microphone and photos are used only when you attach photos or voice recordings to a technique yourself. The recordings stay on your device.

4. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Simply contact kontakt@nlpformate.app.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

5. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the app or the law changes. The version published here applies.

Last updated: October 2026. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
